4. Jackson is rolling over, sitting up, and squealing with delight! Rachel and I decided that this is the best stage of development yet...but we said that a few months ago too. He grows so fast it's scary, and I feel like it's only gone by faster now that I'm at work during the day, but I cherish every second with him. He gets my full attention at home. :)
3. Payton is in Kindergarten! She started school this fall. She struggled a bit at first. Those who know her strong willed personality will not be surprised by this, but she is learning a lot. She's more positive about the experience (except the taste of the school food), which makes me much happier!
2. BIG BOY...Jackson is eating 6-8oz every feeding (3-4 hours). I'm almost done nursing...not necessarily by choice, but I'm not producing nearly enough (even pumping when I can at work) to satisfy him. It's sad for me, but I've finally convinced myself that I'm no less his mother if I feed him formula in a bottle. In fact, we'll likely start rice cereal soon. Jackson is SO interested in what everyone is eating and almost insatiable in the evenings that I'm not sure I can hold out much longer. :)
1. Andrew graduates at the end of the month...We are so looking forward to his graduation. He has worked so hard (starting before Iraq, stopping to fight in Iraq, and going to school while working full time ever since), and so deserves that piece of paper. We're excited to see where God takes us next...maybe law school? As a gift for this momentous occasion and his 30th birthday this year, I'm trying to coordinate a deep sea fishing trip for him and his brothers in October. It may end up happening in March instead, but is well deserved (and will be enjoyed) whenever it does happen!
Yay for all of Jackson's accomplishments and Congrats to Andrew! =)
